More than one gate per airline

Until now every airline could hold exactly one gate and one check-in desk.

Assigning the same airline to a second gate freed the first one again – in a

large terminal that left most of the signs empty.

Not any more: an airline can now take as many gates and check-in desks as you

like. Large carriers can be spread across a whole row of gates, the way they are

at a real airport.

And it pays off now. The bonus on passenger income is staggered per airline:

• first gate +1%

• second +0.5%

• third +0.25%

The assignment window now tells you what the next assignment is still worth, and

the contract window shows how many gates each tier counts.
