Mineral Mining Simulator · public · first seen
Hi miners, 😄
Thank you very much for your continued support, reports, feedback, and suggestions.
This update focuses on making larger mining operations easier to manage, especially when reorganizing machines or handling a growing number of employees.
Machines can now be sold directly through Machine Management, including bulk selling based on the machines currently shown by your selected category or search. We have also improved machine repacking and selling values, expanded employee reliability improvements, added more late-game machine upgrades, and included several additional performance and usability improvements.
Here is what is available in the latest version.
Machines can now be sold directly through Machine Management, making it easier to reorganize larger mining facilities without manually repacking and selling each machine in the world.
a. Sell Mode and Individual Machine Selling
A new Sell Mode can be enabled from Machine Management.
While Sell Mode is active, supported machine cards display a Sell option, allowing individual machines to be sold directly from the panel.
Before selling, a confirmation displays the selected machine and its estimated selling value.
Sell Mode automatically turns off whenever the player leaves Machine Management to help prevent accidental selling.
b. Sell All Machines
A new Sell All Machines option is also available for larger restructuring tasks.
Sell All only applies to the machines currently displayed in Machine Management based on the active category and search filter.
For example, if a specific category is selected or a search term is active, only machines included in those visible results will be considered for selling.
Before confirming, the panel displays the machines included in the sale and their combined selling value.
Machines that cannot be sold at that moment will be skipped rather than interrupting the entire process.
Machine repacking and selling have also been updated to better handle stored items and previously purchased upgrades.
a. Machine Stock Handling
When repacking a supported machine that still contains stock, players can now choose between:
Repack and Discard Stock
Repack and Sell Stock
Cancel
Choosing to sell the remaining stock adds its lower selling value before the machine is repacked.
When a machine is sold directly through Machine Management, supported stock remaining inside the machine is also sold using the same lower selling value.
b. Upgrade Costs Included in Machine Selling Value
Selling an upgraded machine now includes a full refund of the upgrade costs already invested in that machine.
Previously, an upgraded machine could have the same selling value as an unupgraded machine. The selling value now properly reflects the upgrades that have already been purchased.
c. Machine Level Shown on Packed Boxes
Packed machine boxes now display their Machine Level in both the box tooltip and the label above the box.
This makes it easier to distinguish upgraded machines after they have been repacked.
We have made a broader set of improvements to employee reliability, particularly around interrupted tasks, active box transfers, and employee resets.
a. Improved Employee Unstuck
The Unstuck option now resets the selected employee immediately.
Previously, the reset could wait for the employee's current action to finish, which was not useful when the employee was already stuck during that action.
b. Active Box Transfers Are Temporarily Protected
Boxes currently being handled by an employee during supported transfer tasks can no longer be picked up or interacted with until the process is complete.
This applies to activities such as:
Box merging
Restocking machines
Other supported box transfers
If the player attempts to interact with a box that is currently busy, a notification will explain that the transfer is still in progress.
c. Safer Employee Resets and Task Interruptions
Additional safeguards have been added for situations where an employee is reset, removed, or interrupted during an active task.
These improvements reduce cases where:
Boxes could remain stuck or floating
Machines or Racks could remain reserved
Task reservations could remain active
Employees could remain stuck after an interrupted action
This also improves handling around supported train tasks, maintenance and restocking, and Toxic Gas-related activities.
Locked mining nodes now display their required player Level directly in the building interface.
Players can now see information such as:
Unlock at Level N
before attempting to deploy a Core Drill at that location.
Additional boxes are now kept more organized when the regular stacking area is already full.
This affects supported stacking areas such as those used by Box Packers and Supply Areas.
Rather than immediately scattering around the area when the normal stack is full, overflow boxes will continue to be grouped around the existing stack.
The in-game virtual keyboard now includes a Cancel option.
Players can also use Escape on keyboard or B on controller to close the keyboard and cancel the current edit.
Cancelling restores the previous text instead of applying unfinished input.
This also fixes cases where a virtual keyboard left open in the background could interfere with a panel that had already been closed.
Additional machine speed upgrade levels are now available for later progression.
Supported machines can now be upgraded up to Machine Level 10, with the higher upgrade Levels becoming available gradually throughout late-game progression.
At the highest supported upgrade, applicable machine operations can reach approximately 6× the base speed.
Boxes and commodity models now use additional Level of Detail optimization.
Objects farther away from the player can use lighter visual detail, helping reduce rendering workload in mining facilities with large numbers of visible boxes and materials.
This optimization is intended to improve performance in denser and more developed areas while keeping nearby objects visually detailed.
Additional optimization has also been applied to Cave environments.
Cave rendering and visibility handling have been improved so parts of the environment that are not currently visible can be handled more efficiently.
As with our previous performance updates, the overall impact may vary depending on the device, save size, and mining facility layout.
We will continue reviewing performance and making further optimization improvements in upcoming updates.
Fixed a background error that could repeatedly occur when boxes were emptied and removed during several processes, including:
Employee box merging
Transfers into supported containers or machines
Selling boxes
Additional safeguards have been added so these processes can complete more reliably when a box is removed while its visual or transfer state is still being updated.
Thank you again for your continued support, reports, and feedback.
As mining facilities become larger, we will continue improving the tools available for managing machines and employees while also reviewing reliability, usability, and performance across more complex layouts.
If you encounter any issues or unexpected behavior, please report them through the in-game report feature or through the Steam Discussions page so we can investigate further.
See you in the next update!
