On Steam

Fire Everything! — Patch 1.0.1
This update improves controller support and makes important menu information easier to read. Thanks to everyone who shared feedback.
Controller improvements
- B now goes back through menus and closes pause submenus correctly.
- The D-pad now navigates the pause menu, with a clearer highlight on the focused button.
- The mouse cursor hides when using a controller and returns when the mouse is used.
- The left stick now controls both heading and thrust. Keep moving while turning, with analog throttle based on how far you push the stick.
- Moving left or right between upgrade cards now takes one D-pad press.
Menus and readability
- Added confirmation dialogs for Reset All in Settings and Restart Run during gameplay. Both start on Cancel, and B backs out.
- Added a Profile settings tab with separate Reset Profile and Reset Tutorials actions, each with confirmation. Profile reset starts fresh and ends the current run; tutorial reset preserves progression. Both keep your settings.
- Made the Foundry core balance larger and placed Powerups and Unlocks on a separate line while keeping the existing visual style.
- Upgrade cards now clearly display their rarity in text, including weapon evolution choices.
- The selection windows fit smaller displays and increased UI scale.
- Back buttons on the setup screens now react to mouse hover and controller focus.
- Fixed ship selection text overlapping the highlighted card border, including Void Leviathan’s Singularity Field description.
Combat feedback
- Your ship briefly flashes red when it takes damage. The Reduce Flashes setting softens this effect.
Tutorials
- Added a Tutorials library to the pause menu, where all briefings can be read again while the run stays paused.
- Clarified weapon range, firing cones, hardpoint direction, and why target-seeking weapons can wait for a valid target after their cooldown finishes.
- Shortened the weapon and Fire Everything briefings, clarifying firing cones and Auto versus Aim targeting without button instructions.
- Updated weapon evolution and upgrade briefings to explain upgrade effects and rarity names.
- Blocking briefings now accept controller A or B and keep input from reaching menus beneath them.
