VERSION 0.660

On Steam

- Chapter 3 now requires 8 distinct deployed machines or newly installed ship systems. Upgrade levels, duplicate registry entries, consumables and built-in starter equipment do not count; guidance is updated in all supported languages.
- Weapons now prioritize the creature with the least remaining health when choosing between Dust Munchers and Equipment Huggers.
- Pressure Booster Kits can now only be bought for installed Dust Processors that can use them, accounting for unused kits in inventory; version 2 requires version 1 on the same processor.
- Raised Chapter 2's clean dust sale-value objective to over 2 credits per dust, including its progress target and all localized labels.
- Skills Programme chapters now keep the completed list visible for a full two seconds after the final tick animation finishes, with closing, shortcuts and dragging locked until the next chapter introduction.
- Pausing now silences gameplay loops and event sounds while keeping the ambient backtrack at reduced volume.
- The main ship cargo container now labels its stored amount and capacity as Clean dust.
- Fixed Skills Programme chapter introductions intercepting clicks on Continue when opening from a hidden window. Continue now also accepts the controller confirm action and shows the matching controller glyph beside the button.
- Dust Rush stopwatch pickups now render behind creatures and their death effects, keeping their final animations visible.
- Reviewed the new chapter and device-action translations against established game terminology, correcting command-bridge and spacecraft wording and aligning resource, cargo-pod, processor and production-item names.
- Filled the Dust Propel Barrel's Set Target and Roaming Mode menu translations across all 30 supported languages.
- Added the final Skills Programme chapter, A Better Future, with ten production, research, administration and planetary healing objectives worth 99 credits each. Partial progress carries forward, the introduction is retained in Dialogue History, and the completed final list remains available.
- Localized all four Skills Programme chapter introductions, forty objectives, Continue controls and numeric progress popups across all 30 supported languages. Compact labels retain their authored size where possible, with a bounded font reduction for longer translations.
- Added Skills Programme Chapter 3: New Horizons, with ten exploration and expansion objectives worth 90 credits each, ending with placement of the Superdust Processing Plant. Earlier achievements and partial counters carry forward in the save, and the chapter introduction is retained in Dialogue History.
- Numeric Skills Programme objectives across Chapters 1-4 now show live progress, target details, and a progress bar when hovered. Completed objectives stay marked complete even if a live balance or capacity later falls.
- Added Skills Programme Chapter 2: Scale Up. Completing Chapter 1 pauses gameplay, finishes the last tick, then clears the list and introduces ten new objectives worth 75 credits each. Earlier achievements carry forward, chapter text is saved in Dialogue History, and the new queue/cargo capacity targets are over 200/300.
- New games now introduce Chapter 1 of the Skills Programme after the first event dialogue. Read the chapter introduction, press Continue, and watch the ten objectives pop in before gameplay resumes. Chapter text is retained in Dialogue History, and the whole window header and top frame can now be dragged.
- The main gameplay HUD now starts hidden until Chapter 1's Continue button is clicked. The button gently breathes to invite a click, and the introduction explains that tasks will be marked off as the player progresses.
- Fixed Dust Propel Barrel aiming accumulating sway and recoil into unwanted drifting. New barrels aim at the mining station centre; roaming uses engine-powered flights at a stable distance from the target, stops to collect eligible dust, and yields to player-directed moves.
- Roaming Dust Propel Barrels now reverse direction at the dust-map boundary and keep their new direction through later waypoints and collection stops, preserving the same target and orbit radius.
