Game Overlay Translator · public · first seen
This update is for everyone using translation regions. Following recent feedback on the community hub, every region frame gets three upgrades: a pause button, a hide button, and resizable edges. Existing behavior is unchanged unless you use them.
NEW: Each region frame now has two new buttons next to the ✕. Pause (the ⏸ icon) temporarily stops translating that region — the frame stays where it is, its outline turns dashed, and pressing ▶ resumes it. Hide (the crossed-out eye icon) removes the frame from view while translation keeps running; a small translucent dot stays at the corner, and clicking the dot brings the frame back. You can also pause a region and then hide it, to park it completely out of the way. The ✕ still deletes the region, exactly as before.
NEW: Region frames can now be resized after creation. Drag any edge of the frame to resize it horizontally or vertically, or drag a corner to resize diagonally — the mouse cursor changes when you are in the right spot. Dragging inside the frame still moves it, as before. A resize behaves exactly like re-creating the frame at the new size: the overlay refreshes for the new area.
FIX: As promised in the v1.47 notes — box opacity is now clearly visible in the settings preview. The sample backdrop behind the box has brighter elements, so lowering the opacity visibly lets the background show through, even with a dark box color.
NOTE: Pause applies to region-based translation, which means auto mode and the region hotkeys. The full-screen translate key ignores regions by design, and it still translates the whole screen, paused areas included.
