You can now earn in-game money by completing a full 15-round match and use it to purchase lootboxes containing cosmetic items.
This is an early version of the progression system, with more ways to earn cosmetics planned for the full release.
There will be no real-money purchases for cosmetics — everything is earned through playing the game.
