The wait is finally over! We know you’ve all been eagerly anticipating this one, and the countdown has officially reached zero.
SHOP UPDATE is the first step on our Roadmap, bringing brand-new, larger properties to elevate your merchant empire, a massive overhaul to NPC behavior, changes to the shopping systems, major quality-of-life additions, and plenty of balance tweaks!
Darkmoon Fair: Step right up and join the carnival! Bring an enigmatic, festive spectacle right to your shop floor.
Ivory Tower: A gleaming, big, marble-clad tower reaching for the skies. (Princess not included.)
Old Vinery: A charming, expansive storefront draped in lush vines, steeped in aged wine and forgotten folklore.
No More Ghost Walking: Customers finally remember they are made of flesh and bone! Items and furniture now feature proper physical obstacles. Shoppers will actively attempt to path around your displays instead of phasing through them like specters.
Mind the Gap: Yes, that means the era of barricading your entire store with edge-to-edge tables is officially over! If an NPC's path is completely walled off by furniture, they'll stop, announce they can't get through, and refuse to spend their hard-earned coins.
Smarter AI Behavior: Fixed annoying AI lockups where NPCs would bug out, freeze in place, and stare into the void doing absolutely nothing.
Accurate Queue Feedback: NPCs facing a full counter queue will now explicitly complain that the line is full, ending the days of bogus "too expensive" complaints cluttering your transaction history.
Close your mouth!: NPCs no longer walk with their mouths open.
Automatic Counter Payments: Customers now leave gold on the counter on their own! You no longer need to click them twice to accept payment.
Pricing Logic Rework: Base prices are now set first, with active shop bonuses accurately calculating their bonus percentage on top of that base figure. REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR PRICES AFTER THE UPDATE!
Item Deconstruction: Regret a craft? You can now salvage unwanted items to recover a portion of the original crafting materials.
Expanded Item UI: Hovering over merchandise now surfaces a much deeper, clearer breakdown of sales metrics and stats.
Placement Camera Clipping: Walls and ceilings now clip cleanly when you place items on the tables.
The Rug Stacking Fix: We know, we know—you probably hate this one. But all good things must come to an end! Flying carpet staircases were an unintended exploit that bypassed layout limits, so rug stacking has officially been retired.
Economy & Crafting Tuning: Rebalanced base market values across multiple item categories and adjusted crafting recipes for furniture.
Quest Fix: Resolved an issue where turning in the "Master Dungeoneering" quest failed to grant its intended reward.
Jump back behind the counter, redesign your layouts (with actual walkways this time!), explore the new shopfronts, remember to readjust the prices, and let us know what you think!
