Good news, PC Nephilim! ⌨️🖱️
Patch 1.0.0.1 has passed testing and we've decided to put our Alpha implementation of keybinding support into your hands now, rather than make you wait for the full, polished version.
The update is available now (version 162350), giving PC players basic keyboard & mouse remapping and mouse sensitivity controls while we continue to refine and expand the feature.
Keybinding support was already planned for PC, but we chose to hold the initial implementation at launch while we resolved some remaining issues. Your feedback reinforced that getting these options into your hands should be a priority, so the team has been working to get them ready as quickly as possible.
IMPORTANT NOTE: this is our first Alpha implementation of keybinding support, not the final, polished experience we intend to deliver. You can find this new feature under the Settings Menu > Keyboard > select the custom keyboard profile (click the left arrow).
Right now, you can rebind all available actions, revert bindings to their defaults and adjust mouse sensitivity, but there are some things not included in this version that we're working to add in a future update – these include:
Multiple bindings - assign more than one key to the same action
Double-tap inputs - assign actions to quickly pressing a key twice
Hold inputs - assign actions to holding a key down
We made the decision to get this Alpha functionality into your hands sooner rather than make you wait for the full implementation. This is only our first step, and we want your feedback to help us refine what comes next and what's important to you.
Please let us know what works, what doesn’t, and any issues you encounter. We’d also love to hear what additional keybinding options or functionality you’d like to see in the next implementation.
We’ll continue refining and expanding keybinding support in future updates.
Our attention is also firmly on the other pressing issues players have raised since launch, including camera improvements, progression loss, UI scaling settings and improvements, game crashes & additional controller layout options.
The team is actively working through these now, and we’ll have more to share on the next patch soon.
We won’t keep you waiting long ⚔️
