🐝 Ascending finally means something: every repeatable upgrade now has a per-run cap, and each ascension raises it.
New
- Ascend to raise your caps. Repeatable nodes show Lv x/cap; the cap grows with every ascension, with no final ceiling. Reaching infinity is still possible — it just takes many ascensions, not one run.
- Royal Shop needs Prestige this run. Shop perks can only be bought once the current run owns the Prestige node, same as Ascend.
- Queen's Count (Royal Shop): each bee type doubles its pollen at 10, 25, 50 and 100 owned, then at every doubling. Bee buttons show owned/next and celebrate every milestone.
- Drills: a new tree column with one training node per bee type — faster flight and richer collection for that type only.
- Tailwind: all bees fly faster per level. Saddlebags: bees visit more flowers per trip before flying home.
- Flowers finally differ. Dandelion is cheap, quick and brief; tulip is rich, slow and lasting; rose is balanced. The planter shows each niche.
- Bees are mortal again. Bee Vitality now really extends their lives (and caps). A small puff marks where a bee died.
- Clearing a rotten flower by hand pays a little honey.
Balance
- First-run caps are deliberately tight (Honey Boost 10, Storage 30, Grid Ring 10 ...) and grow with ascension.
- Hardy Blooms now removes a flat 10% rot per level and maxes out where rot hits 0%.
- No upgrade's last level can cost more than your storage can hold at the same ascension.
Fixes
- Crash when very fast bees overshot their target.
- Saves that had overflowed to "inf" load again, and a stuck run can finally ascend.
- Upgrade tree and Royal Shop layout with the new column and perk.
Thanks for playing — and for the bug reports that shaped this one! 🍯
