Multi-Tactics: 豊葦原星記 -蒸気の章- · build 25034856 · published
This update focuses on three major areas: a complete overhaul of the multiplayer synchronization system, a full visual redesign of the user interface, and improvements based on feedback from the ninth alpha test.
The multiplayer architecture has been rebuilt around a host-authoritative model to eliminate synchronization issues at their source. Combat controls, Battle AI, the Workshop, UI, and the in-game manual have also received significant improvements.
The main changes are listed below.
The multiplayer system has been rebuilt around a host-authoritative architecture.
Previously, guests executed parts of the game locally and sent the results back to the host, which could cause inventory, equipment, and character data to fall out of sync.
Now, the host performs all gameplay calculations while guests simply send requests, greatly improving synchronization and reliability.
All combat actions are now processed by the host before being synchronized to every player.
Save data is now always authored by the host, preventing guest save corruption.
Guests can now use consumable items for characters they control while in the base.
This redesign is expected to eliminate many long-standing multiplayer synchronization issues, including inventory, Workshop, loot distribution, healing effects, and character state synchronization.
This system still requires multiplayer testing. Feedback on multiplayer synchronization—especially weapon handling, loot distribution, and Workshop operations—is greatly appreciated.
