Complete Art Overhaul; Patent War Arrives; Major System Changes

On Steam

Bosses, we’re making great progress.

As the final release in the 0.1.X series, this update marks a milestone. We have rolled out a complete visual overhaul across numerous scenes, with carefully crafted designs and animations. This may put additional pressure on older hardware. If it feels as though you have received a new game, please leave a “Recommended” review to support our work!

On the Competitors page, we have introduced a complete patent-litigation campaign. Patent suits now have enormous consequences. Invest in your R&D and Legal teams: years of heavy spending may become a blade that cripples a rival overnight. Of course, losing a case will also carry severe consequences.

Five employees in the Talent Codex are now CEOs of rival companies, while another has become a senior legal executive at Hongfei Electronics. You must destroy their companies before you can recruit them. They are elite executives with a skill score of 100 in their respective departments.

We have removed most expert employees’ eligibility to serve as company executives. I know they are expensive to recruit, so their fixed, exceptionally high stats will remain for now to avoid throwing your company into an operating crisis. However, I expect every expert employee to receive clearly differentiated mechanics and be substantially nerfed within the next month. Their current numbers are simply superhuman.

The base interest rate on bank loans is now 16%, while casino credit charges 32%. For a long time, players who owned a Private Bank could earn a risk-free return far above their borrowing rate. Share-pledge loans now carry an annual interest rate of 6%.

In the past, simply stacking multiple positive impulses could inflate the share price of your own company into a bubble more extreme than anything in human history. We have reduced the price impact of routine actions. You can still create absurd volatility, but it will no longer be so easy that it ruins the game experience, and your window to act is now smaller.

Changes in this area:

1. CEO Publicity now costs 3 Action Points and moves the stock price by −0.5% to +1.2%. Its follow-on price ripples have been removed: one use now causes one price move.

2. Completing Advanced R&D no longer pushes the stock price upward.

3. Declaring a dividend no longer pushes the stock price upward.

4. The CEO’s bullish stock call has been removed.

5. A single cancellation of treasury shares must equal at least 0.2% of total shares outstanding to push the stock price upward.

6. CEO Show Product and CEO Tease New Product no longer affect the stock price.

Meanwhile:

- Added new grudge states.

- The personnel system now provides clearer prompts and formulas.

- Redesigned and rebalanced monthly department salaries, which have risen substantially, as well as CEO capabilities and department-executive capabilities.

- The Legal Department can now continuously reduce every Suspicion track.

- The game now remembers the portrait you choose for a character under your protection and uses that portrait whenever the character appears.

- Carefully crafted effects now deliver a stronger sense of immersion.

- Fixed several bugs that occurred when cash or profit was negative.

- Using a Media Group to talk a stock down or pump it now adds 30 Manipulation Suspicion and 30 Insider Trading Suspicion. The upper limit of its effect has been increased slightly.

- Fixed a bug that allowed full short-selling and covering even when too few tradable shares were available. Short positions can now be squeezed when available float is insufficient.

⭐ Your review matters

If you enjoy this update and can see how the game has improved, leaving a “Recommended” review on Steam is the greatest support you can give its growth:

• It helps more players discover the game.

• It gives me the energy and resources to keep building new features.

• It brings the game one step closer to becoming a great business simulation.

Best,

Tim Gu
