Hey, I finally made it — sorry for the wait! This update I thought "let's just go all in"... and of course I couldn't test everything haha. Still too young lol (things like Rende's copying, Tianzi's persuading, Jianxiong's summoning — but the real stars are the 89 units' military advisor bonus combinations in the Cabinet, Conquest Mode's rule and number balance, plus I stuffed in two brand-new Mandate bosses with entirely new mechanics and forms, etc.).
v0.9 basically implements all the planned new features. No more rambling — let's jump right into the update!
The lords finally get their moment in the sun! Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Quan, Dong Zhuo, and Liu Xie can now awaken to Legendary quality, each unlocking a Signature Talent; enemy lords also rise to Legendary on Hard difficulty.
Cao Cao · Cunning Tyrant: When attacked, summons a Wei unit to assist (Phantom faction, disappears at battle end).
Liu Bei · Benevolent Virtue: On deployment, copies the talents of the two highest-quality units on the field for himself.
Sun Quan · Inherited Legacy: During the attack phase, for every 3 Speed, triggers one extra pursuit after the attack.
Dong Zhuo · Tyrannical Levy: While on the field, each time an ally is deployed, all enemies lose 1 max HP.
Liu Xie · Son of Heaven: At end of turn, randomly persuades an enemy unit to join your side.

All attack talents are now classified by trigger timing into Pursuit, Attack Phase, Attack-Damage-Bonus, and Post-Attack types, tied to On-Attacked and On-Kill talents for a more unified and clearer trigger chain. Core talent descriptions have been updated:
Pursuit Type:
Laolian (Strategist): While on the field, each time an ally is deployed, immediately pursue-attack the opposite enemy once.
Miaoji (Zhou Yu): At end of each turn, immediately pursue-attack the opposite enemy once.
Dongfeng (Zhou Yu): On deployment, immediately pursue-attack the opposite enemy once.
Wusheng (Guan Yu): On basic-attack kill, trigger one extra pursuit after the attack.
Attack Phase Type:
Guimou (Guo Jia): During the attack phase, trigger one extra attack phase.
Lianzhu (Taishi Ci): During the attack phase, instead attack the leftmost and rightmost enemies once each.
Pingluan (Huangfu Song): During the attack phase, additionally attack all enemies with debuffs.
Duo'ai (Yan Liang): During the attack phase, additionally attack all enemies with the lowest HP.
Chengye (Sun Quan): During the attack phase, for every 3 Speed, trigger one extra pursuit after the attack.
Post-Attack Type:
Mingjiang (Yan Liang): After attacking, restore HP equal to damage dealt.
Zhaohan (Jiang Wei): After attacking, gain Shield stacks equal to the damage dealt.
Kurou (Huang Gai): After attacking, if the target has a debuff, restore 3 HP.
Wushuang (Lü Bu): After attacking, adjacent units of the target take the same splash damage.
Fengjian (Seal) talent nerfed: The Seal applied by related talents — Biyue, Luanwu, Jinling — is now reduced to 1 turn.
Status decay logic optimized: Duration turns now decrease based on whether the unit participated in the attack phase (regardless of 0 ATK etc., as long as it participated in an attack phase, its remaining turns decrease correctly). Confused/Stun/Seal all decay uniformly during the end-of-turn phase.
Talent description optimization: Zuo Ci's 【Avatar】talent and Liu Bei's Signature 【Rende】talent are now described as "active while on field", distinguishing them from "this battle" bonuses — copied talents disappear when the unit leaves the field.
"Bai'er" → "Baijie": The Shu infantry talent name corrected to the proper 「Baijie」.
Pass Trial / Conscription / Recruitment / Draft / Gambling Den events now have a close/skip button, letting you skip the unit-draft step with a confirmation — giving you more control over map management decisions without being forced into picks that break your tempo.
Rarity completion: Added the Mundane quality tier, and filled in Legendary-quality stardust values — the economy is now more complete.
Drill optimization: Refined the HP-blood gauge description; success rate changed from "base success rate" → "global success rate", clearer.
Zhenhu addition: Added a "View Supported Talents" list, showing at a glance which talents can be triggered by Zhenhu.
Long-press fast allocation: Long-press now rapidly allocates points during the Danqing retrain event and offspring birth allocation.
Hard Mode 12 Avatars redesigned: Now fielding 4 Legendary Avatars, then 4 Extraordinary Avatars, and finally 4 Epic Avatars (Conquest Mode reuses this difficulty design).
Card stat display optimization: Adjusted the style of the three attribute value texts; numbers remain clearly readable even when they overflow the frame.
Deck/backpack sorting: Now sorted by quality rarity first, making it easier to find cards.
Mandate card hover enhancement: Hovering over a Mandate card now shows its max HP and ATK/SPD bonus values — all info at a glance.
Mandate form-switch optimization: Switching forms counts as deployment, triggering the new form's deploy talents.
Mandate opposite-slot talent optimization: The Mandate's opposite-slot talents now apply to all 4 of your slots.
Starting provisions bonus optimization: When starting provisions are already at max, receiving the "start provisions" reward from clearing a city now automatically converts to +1 max provisions instead of a wasted +0.
Backpack full prompt: Getting an item while your backpack is full previously converted it to copper automatically — this update adds a clear text prompt so you know what happened.
Luoyang scroll title fix: The Luoyang scroll now correctly shows 「Sili」.
Empty-whiff optimization: Stopped several talents from still playing animations with no valid target — Zhenjun/Jiefan with no allies, Dingjun/Chengye with no enemy targets, Quhuo when enemies have no Burn, and Pingluan no longer triggers when it has nothing to hit.
Multiple Shoujie/Qingcheng: Multiple units carrying Shoujie/Qingcheng now stack correctly instead of overwriting each other.
Phantom unit text: Optimized the prompt text when persuading Phantom-faction units (Xuanmiao clones / Jianxiong summons / Tianshi summons), standardizing "temporary unit" to the clearer "Phantom unit".

That's everything in v0.9! You could say almost all the planned content is now fully implemented. The reason we're not calling this v1.0 outright is that we want to keep some version room for live-fix and expansion content. v1.0 will still have some finishing touches — like Steam Achievements, localization (EN/JP/Trad-Chinese), and the Steam Workshop. Thanks for all your support and patience — have fun! Now, go try it out!
