Highlights: Adds Saves / New Game—three independent save slots you can switch between at any time, with the current slot saved automatically before each switch; language, volume, window scale and similar settings now live outside the save file and carry across slots; Restart moves into the same screen, applied to a specific slot; plus fixes for Royce not departing after confirmation and repair details hidden behind the left-hand icons.
New Content
- Saves / New Game · Three slots: Opened from Game Settings; the three slots list their coins, play time and last-played date side by side. Load switches to that slot; an empty one starts fresh via New game.
- Auto-save before switching: Leaving a slot writes its progress out first—no manual save required.
Gameplay Improvements
- Settings now persist across saves: Language, volume, window scale, monitor, burn-in protection and the boss key no longer change with the save file, and stay put when switching slots or starting a new game.
- Restart · Moved into the save screen: Relocated from Game Settings onto the current save's card, making the target slot explicit.
- Save · Written immediately: Pressing Save writes to the current slot at once, with confirmation on the button.
- Save backup protection: A damaged save file is restored from its backup automatically, with an in-game notice.
Bug Fixes
- Traveling Merchant Royce · not departing after confirmation: Fixed a case where confirming departure left the merchant in place.
- Silent save failures: A save that doesn't complete—insufficient disk space, for instance—now raises an immediate notice.
- Achievement progress rollback: Fixed a less advanced save overwriting accumulated achievement progress when switching slots.
- Repair details obscured: For facilities near the left edge such as Wooden Bridge I, required materials and description now display in full.
