Dollar Desktop Pet · beta, public · first seen

Windows and macOS both reach 2.0.0 in this release, with a one-pass checkup, clearer guard modes, and a fuller local view of work across supported coding agents.
Local usage, agent readiness, project health, and continuity evidence now arrive in a single run, so you can read the whole picture instead of opening one panel at a time.

Observe, Advise, and Guard. Set the mode per agent, and use the in-app behavior self-check to confirm what a mode actually does instead of trusting the label. Missed notices are now reviewable after the fact rather than disappearing with a timeout.
Fresh 15-minute local activity, a bounded 7-day token summary, visible provenance, and honest pace labels. Codex shows its official weekly quota only; Dollar does not invent a five-hour limit.

Break activity and spend down by agent and by model. Where Dollar does not have a real bill, the figure is labelled an estimate instead of being presented as one.

Project passports, recovery evidence, and reviewed, redacted handoff packs, alongside Agent Health, AI Highway, Escape Pod, Toolkit, and Settings in one full-screen command center.
Dollar's supervision, records, snapshots, and reports stay on your computer. There is no Dollar account and no telemetry. The Steam edition does not include runtime online generation.
2.0 is included. The same purchase covers Windows and macOS, so there is nothing to buy again. On Mac, Dollar 2.0 is a Universal app, native on Apple Silicon and Intel, and requires macOS 12 or later.
If a mode feels too quiet, too noisy, or too strict, tell us in the Steam Discussions. Specific feedback shapes the next pass.
