Welcome to update 1.2.0b of Fech The Ferret!

With this one we focused on bringing some improvements to the experience in the first zones of the game as well as adding some of the models you've seen us work on in recent times.

Also, the story has been rewritten.

Rather than a huge update, see this as the start of a new phase of Fech's updates, one where you'll see some design elements as a few new blood joins the team and others change their roles.

I'll explain more about this in future streams/updates. For now, I'll leave you to the patch notes!

HIGHLIGHTS

- Added a new rhythmic stage

- New story. Dialogue is rewritten

- New NPCs

- New decorations in the first few zones of the game

- Cloud saves now work in Linux too

CHANGES

- Extended the drowning animation

- Changed dialogue input to Interact instead of Jump 

- Added new clothes

- Added visual feedback to advance dialogue

- Added some safety net collisions to the tutorial + QOL improvements

- Improved underwater dive and resurface (no longer spamming the jump button)

- NPCs (especially the rats) are more visible now

- Some important props are more visible now

- Added new props for the Ferrest

- Added new props for the Quarry

- Added new props for the rhythmic stages

- Rhythmic stages affect the region of Marmocle now

FIXES

- Fixed saves not syncing up between Windows and Linux

- Small fixes to objects in opening of the quarry zone

- Fixed major glitch with camera occlusion (the whole world would disappear from time to time)

KNOWN ISSUES

- New parkour system is incomplete 

- Rolling into a rhythmic stage can lead to small issues

- Music sometimes doesn't start after completing a rhythmic stage (enter and exit to fix)

- Unwanted jitter in the rhythmic stages

- First Porfu shop doesn't open

And lastly, as many of you know, this is the first update in a VERY long time. Due to some systemic changes, there's a high chance of new bugs. The quickest way to report them is inside the discord community at playfe.ch/discord.
