Hello, Gremlin Keepers!
The V2.6 update introduces full Twitch integration, new chaos effects, additional languages, and several important fixes.
Streamers can now connect their Twitch account directly to Desktop Gremlins and allow viewers to interact with the gremlin using Channel Points.
You can:
• Choose which rewards are available
• Customize their Channel Point prices
• Let viewers feed or pet the gremlin
• Trigger individual chaos effects
• Display the viewer’s name and redeemed reward on screen
• Hide sensitive information using Streamer Mode
• Test every reward before starting your stream
Rewards now use a shared playback queue. If several viewers redeem rewards at the same time, the effects will no longer play simultaneously. Each reward waits for the previous effect to finish before starting automatically.
This also reduces system load and prevents the character from lagging during active streams.
New visual events and annoyance effects have been added to the game. Many effects now use more random and lively movement, making every activation look slightly different.
Several existing events have also been redesigned, including Ghost Lanterns and the Gremlin Raid.
Your gremlin can now be attached to a selected window. It will move together with that window, creating the impression that the character is living directly on top of your application.
Menu flickering and accidental closing after attaching the character have also been fixed.
Desktop Gremlins now supports:
• English
• Українська
• Русский
• 日本語
• Polski
• Italiano
The language selector has also been redesigned to make it clearer and easier to use.
• Fixed the cat becoming much smaller while walking
• Improved stability when multiple events are triggered
• Fixed scrolling inside the Twitch reward selector
• Fixed an unresponsive language selection button
• Increased the size and readability of the Twitch menu
• Improved the animation and positioning of several visual effects
• Level 6 and Cat Girl have been temporarily removed for further reworking
• Added various interface and performance improvements
Thank you to everyone who continues to share feedback, report bugs, and suggest wonderfully chaotic ideas!
Connect Twitch, customize your rewards, and let your viewers decide how much chaos your desktop can survive.
