Bunny Guys! · build 24740552 · published
With this update, Bunny Guys! receives a completely new Steam Inventory system. You can obtain new items, collect and upgrade cards, trade with other players, and unlock special characters.
The system is currently kept very simple and will continue to be improved. If you encounter any issues, please let me know!
One particularly important aspect of the new system: The Steam Inventory is available to all owners of Bunny Guys!
More than four million users claimed Bunny Guys! during the previous Free-to-Keep event. With the classic Steam Trading Cards, these players cannot receive card drops through playtime.
With the new Steam Inventory system, this changes: These players can also fully participate in the new collection system, receive items, upgrade cards, trade tradable items with other players, or list them on the Steam Community Market.
This means the new system is available to the entire Bunny Guys! community.

You can now find the new Steam Inventory section in the main menu.
There you can view the items you have received, manage your collections, and upgrade your cards. The items are managed through the Steam Inventory system and are linked to your Steam account.
By playing Bunny Guys!, you can receive new items and gradually expand your collection.
The new collectible cards are available in several tiers:
Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Prestige
By combining cards, you can craft the next higher tier. The further you progress within a collection, the more valuable the next tier becomes.
Prestige is currently the highest tier of a collection.
It can therefore be worthwhile to fully upgrade a collection all the way to Prestige and hold on to those cards. Even if a Prestige card may only represent the end of a collection today, that does not necessarily mean it will remain that way in the future.
With future expansions to the Steam Inventory, special cards or other content may receive additional uses.
Collect, keep, trade, or upgrade — the choice is yours.
In addition to the regular collectible cards, there are special card series for five characters:
Bunny Chrome
Bunny Gold
Bunny Rock
Bunny Coal
Bunny Rust
Each of these characters has its own card series:
Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Prestige
Here, too, you have to work your way up step by step to the highest tier.
However, there is one important difference compared to the regular collectible cards:
A character's Prestige card is required to unlock the corresponding character.
For example, once you have obtained the Bunny Chrome Prestige Card, you can use it to unlock Bunny Chrome.
This gives the character cards a clear goal: build the collection, craft higher tiers, and eventually obtain the required Prestige card.
Many of the new items can be traded with other players as well as bought and sold on the Steam Community Market.
This means you do not have to obtain every card yourself.
For example, if you are missing a specific card for the next tier, you can try to get it from another player or find it on the Community Market. Likewise, you can offer cards you do not need to other players.
This adds another important element to the new system alongside collecting and upgrading: trading between players.
Today's update is only the beginning of the new system.
The Steam Inventory has been designed so that it can be continuously expanded in the future.
More collectible cards, characters, items, collections, and new ways to use them are planned. Existing items may also gain additional uses in future expansions.
I want to expand the system step by step while also observing how collecting, crafting, and trading develop within the community.
So it may be worth keeping an eye on your inventory and perhaps not giving away every special card right away.
Have fun collecting, trading, and making your way to Prestige!
