Things are getting serious in the Throne Room.
The new case system regularly puts different situations before you as king. But a verdict is no longer forgotten as soon as the next case begins. Your decisions can become relevant again later and influence the course of your reign.
At the same time, the world of Dadi Kingdom continues to grow. New enemies have arrived, the villages and savanna feel more alive, and encounters with the people of the kingdom now offer far more possibilities.
The Throne Room is becoming a permanent part of your reign.
Different days bring different cases. You hear what your subjects have to say, make your decision and then live with the consequences.
Some effects are immediate.
Others take time.
A verdict can continue to matter long after the original case is over.
The Throne Room is no longer only about choosing the right answer. It is about how you rule your kingdom and which decisions you are willing to make.
Dadi Kingdom is becoming more varied beyond the Throne Room as well.
New additions include:
Skeletons
Lizardmen
Barbarians
Pirates
Your travels across the kingdom can now lead to a much wider variety of threats and encounters.
From the roads of the kingdom to more distant regions, you should never be completely sure what is waiting ahead.
Not every new encounter ends with a drawn sword.
Wildlife has been greatly expanded. The villages and savanna now have wildlife of their own, helping the different regions feel more distinct and much more alive.
The people of the kingdom are becoming more involved in gameplay too.
Depending on who you meet, characters can be spoken to or drawn into combat. Names and health are now displayed directly, making encounters much clearer.
The Royal Court has a new arrival too.
Boris, the Royal Tracking Hound.
Boris is now part of Dadi Kingdom and has taken his place in the kingdom.
What exactly a king needs a Royal Tracking Hound for is something we will show you later.
The game has also received improvements across the board.
Dadi Kingdom now runs more efficiently, with the benefits being particularly noticeable on systems with less available graphics memory.
That gives the kingdom more room to grow without leaving performance behind.
New Throne Room cases with lasting consequences, four new enemy types, more wildlife, deeper NPC encounters, a new interface, Boris and improvements throughout the game.
And that is still far from everything we have to show.
Dadi Kingdom is becoming bigger, more dangerous and more alive.
