Nova Swarm Patch Notes: Clearer Menus, Safer Warnings and Better Run Reports

Menus and onboarding

  • Rebuilt the main menu around a large, focused START PLAYING action, with a clear first-run cue that guides new pilots straight into Mayhem Tactical.
  • Removed the permanent Pilot Orders board from the main menu. Orders now live in the Hangar archive and appear contextually during runs when they matter.
  • Improved typography, spacing, contrast, text-to-frame clearance, and controller focus across the main menu, Settings, How to Play, Mode Details, Hangar, Leaderboards, Threat Codex, Achievements, pause screen, and Run Report.
  • Aligned the Music, How to Play, and Exit Game controls in one readable top-right utility row.

Combat reliability

  • Reworked boss attack warnings so phase changes, armor gates, refuelling, recovery, pause, and other interruptions cannot release a stale attack. Interrupted attacks now require a fresh full warning.
  • Improved Bomb + Sky Verdict resolution: Bomb damage is applied first, then Verdict tracks an eligible survivor. If the target disappears, it can reacquire once; if no target remains, the reserved charge is refunded.
  • Fixed live Pilot Order completion feedback so the UI updates immediately while save writes still wait for a safe gameplay moment.

Wonders, reports and Overrun

  • Cabinet Wonders now hold gameplay timers and progression for the full no-control presentation, avoid enemy overlap, and use a larger, more readable responsive layout.
  • Run Reports now show both ACTIVE TIME and TOTAL ELAPSED. Active Time remains the competitive value; Total Elapsed also includes pauses, Drafts, transitions, and Wonders.
  • Added per-ship Overrun clear recognition in the Hangar and Run Report. It records the first legitimate ten-sector Overrun milestone without changing ranked mastery or leaderboard rules.

Thanks for the detailed reports and screenshots. They helped us make Nova Swarm easier to read and trust without reducing the pressure.
