All include full card art and Codex full-size illustrations.
All have complete dual-talent dynamic performances + death performances.
All have been assigned Common-quality base stats and can be appointed to Cabinet positions. - 16 New Units integrated into the Star Chart:
- The Star Chart has been redrawn for each faction, with adjusted star point layouts and positions.
- Added star point positions and corresponding focus views for all 16 new stars.
- Special note: new units cannot be pulled from the Star Draw if you haven't actually recruited or persuaded them in a game (once their recruit count is > 0, they can be drawn normally).
- Once a star talent is unlocked, it can appear in your own random talent pools and has also been added to the corresponding enemy faction's banner pole pools.
16 New Units — achievements syncedAdded awakening achievements for all 16 new units.New hidden achievement: Capturing Meng Huo Seven Times.New team achievement: Zhou Yu & Sun Ce + The Two Qiaos.Adjusted team achievement: Wei's Master Strategists — now requires Cheng Yu to be in the team to complete (already-completed achievements are unaffected).Due to the addition of 16 new units, the 12 existing units obtainable from map special events — Yu Ji, Hua Xiong, Lu Su, Huang Gai, Xu Shu, Huang Zhong, Xun Yu, Cao Ren, Diao Chan, Huang Yueying, Zhen Ji, and Sun Shangxiang — will no longer appear in Pass Trial / Conscription / Recruitment / Draft events.Additionally, the combat encounter rate for both the 12 existing units and the 16 new units has been temporarily set to half of the standard rate.🔮 Four Avatar Types — Legendary-Quality Signature Talents
- Now, when the four Avatar types awaken to Legendary quality (red), they will each unlock their own Signature Talent:
- Vanguard (Li Zhan) → Endless Battle: When killing an enemy with a basic attack, permanently gain +1 Speed for the remainder of this run.
- Strategist (Li Lian) → Seasoned Veteran: While on the field, each time an ally is deployed, immediately attack the enemy opposite once.
- Hermit (Li Chen) → Transcendent Dust: When attacked, the attacker takes equal damage.
- Wanderer (Li Shi) → World-Weary Sage: When attacking, for every 3 units in your deck (including the discard pile), this attack deals +1 damage.
🔧 Adjustments & Optimizations
- Qiaojiang (Artisan) talent nerfed: description changed to "At the end of each turn, randomly trigger the effect of an item card of the same quality (max Epic)." The Qiaojiang talent's color now displays as gold at most on cards, in the Cabinet, and on banner poles. Even if the bearer is a Legendary unit, Qiaojiang will still only roll up to gold-quality items.
- Dingjun (Holding the Military Path) talent buffed: description changed to "When attacking, ignore the target's Shield and Unyielding Armor." In addition to Unyielding Armor, attacks triggered by Dingjun now also ignore Shields.
- Shenshe (Divine Shot) talent historical issue fixed: the talent banner no longer plays when the enemy has no debuffs.
- Adjusted the rarity distribution weights when obtaining banner poles. You will no longer see an overwhelming number of Common-quality banner poles.
- Optimized the awakening achievement text:
Normal units: Successfully persuaded / awakened Epic quality (gold) , unlocking their Signature Talent.
Avatar: Successfully awakened Legendary quality (red) , unlocking their Signature Talent.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where both buttons at Naihe Bridge showed "Confirm" text.
- Fixed a bug in the Marriage Tree event where all offspring were treated as male.
- Fixed a bug where item card progress was lost and not displayed in color in the Codex.
- Fixed a bug where Persuasion Orders generated by Qiaojiang could not complete persuasion achievements.
- Fixed a bug where offspring card templates were incorrectly distributed by map events such as Conscription.
- Fixed a bug where offspring cards could incorrectly enter the Cabinet.
- Fixed a display bug where the Qiaojiang talent's color in the Cabinet did not follow its rarity.
- Fixed a bug where right-clicking could not cancel after selecting a star to seal with the Zhenxingjue.

💬 Some Explanations
⚔️ Combat Flow
Due to missing tutorials (my fault), there may be some misunderstandings about the combat flow. Let me clarify:
- In battle, attacks are resolved from left to right across the card slots. Within the same column, the unit with higher Speed attacks first.
- If both sides in a column have equal Speed, your unit attacks first. If your unit kills the enemy at equal Speed, the enemy will still launch their attack — dying at equal Speed does not cancel their attack.
- If a unit in a column has Swift (Shensu), that unit attacks first. If both sides have Swift, the standard Speed flow applies (higher Speed goes first; equal Speed enters the queue in order).
🎵 Game Music
- The main menu theme "Bu Xin Yin Guo" (No Faith in Karma) is now up on Bilibili~ (It also includes 4 VIP versions — feel free to help me vote on which one to use~)
- Also, sorry — I said in the Bilibili video that I'd release the ending credits music the next day, but I got bogged down by the update on one hand, and on the other, I want to keep updating the supporter list in the credits video (whether positive or negative reviews, or community feedback, I record everyone's Steam ID). So I've recently updated another batch of names in the credits~
- Thank you all so much for the support — I'm determined to fill the entire credits video with your names someday (haha, how many copies would I have to sell for that? A man can dream!).
🔭 A Word on Future Updates
There should be about 2–3 more major version updates before we reach the full release. The big content updates confirmed are: Signature Talents for the four faction Lords, Mandate·Demon, Conquest Mode, and new Cabinet positions (depending on how many I can grind out per version). No more new units are planned before the full release — each new unit touches so many interconnected systems, and this wave of 16 has nearly burnt me out completely ːsteamboredː.
Of course, even after the full release, there will still be updates and ongoing bug fixes. It's just that once the game is complete enough to call it a full release (so I can finally set that weight down), I'll shift to a slower development pace, with enough time to design and think (including brainstorming my next game to keep the creative fire alive), rather than the current pace that's starting to take a toll on my health and daily life ːsteamsadː.
Have fun everyone! Enough talk — jump in and try out the 16 new units and their new talents~
