Dear Conductors,
This update focuses on improvements to Automatic Grappling Hooks, Animal Pens, the Compost Bin, and Easy Mode.
We have also continued addressing multiplayer synchronization and performance issues, improving stability when large numbers of automated devices, animals, and fish tanks are active.
Thank you for your continued feedback!
We have made several fixes and improvements to the newly added Automatic Grappling Hook.
Fixes:
Fixed an issue that caused rocks and wood to appear abnormally enlarged for clients
Improvements:
Automatic Grappling Hooks now retain their stored charge
Stored charge will remain unchanged the next time you enter the game
Improved multiplayer synchronization
All players will now see the same Automatic Grappling Hook state
We have further improved the animal husbandry system.
Change:
Animal Pen capacity has been expanded from 3×3 to 3×4
Improvements:
Any item can now be added to or removed from Animal Pens
Animals in a pen consume 1 food item every 5 seconds
Their hunger is restored according to the food's effect
Changes:
Animals no longer consume food when their hunger is full
Animals pause production when the pen has no space for their produce
Production resumes automatically once space is cleared
Change:
The Compost Bin can now hold:
3 slots of food awaiting processing
Processing Rules:
Only 1 food item is processed at a time
Other food items automatically wait in a queue
Improvement:
Food placed in the Compost Bin is no longer lost when fertilizer storage is full
We have made further adjustments to Easy Mode to ease the early-game survival pressure on new players.
Changes:
Oxygen consumption rate reduced by 50%
Oxygen Mask consumption rate reduced by 50%
Additionally:
Wolf packs now appear less frequently
The safe period after repelling a wolf pack has been extended
The initial wait and interval between bear events have been doubled
This gives players more time to explore, build, and become familiar with the world.
We have fixed issues that could occur when moving Animal Pens.
Fixes:
Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when moving a pen containing animals
Fixed an issue that caused a pen to remain red and become impossible to place after colliding with a nearby object
Improvement:
Only the pen itself is now shown in the moving preview
After placement, the original animals are retained and displayed again as normal
Fix:
Fixed an issue that cleared the remaining feed after the last fish was removed from a tank
Now:
Remaining feed is correctly retained even after the last fish is removed
This update includes extensive performance improvements.
Improvements:
Reduced stuttering when large numbers of automated machines are running at once
Improved performance when animals in multiple pens are growing and active at the same time
Reduced the performance impact of running large numbers of fish ponds at once
Reduced sudden frame drops when many fish grow at the same time
Additionally:
Changes in fish weight are now smoother
Reduced performance fluctuations caused by frequent fish-state updates
