Bug Fixes & Secret Parent Mode

Another round of fixes has arrived! Here's what's changed:

  • Doomsdavid will no longer spontaneously and accidentally explode for no reason.

  • Lava has now remembered it's lava and will now perform its primary job of killing you.

  • Since lava is now pulling its weight, we moved the mines in Sloth's level closer together. As I felt players happiness was becoming a problem.

  • Awesome David's lantern has been sent to anger management and will now properly reset its speed if it starts moving too fast.

  • Reduced the number of valves in Awesome David's level from 7 to 5.

  • Wooden planks no longer disappear out of embarrassment. They now fade away with dignity.

  • Added a highly secretive "Parent Mode." Pressing a specific key will now make you completely immortal so parents (and easily stressed individuals) can survive the game. You will earn exactly zero achievements while in Parent Mode.

  • Shiver and the Soul Warden have agreed to stop stealing each other's cameras.

  • Fixed several subtitle issues so subtitles actually match what's being said.

  • You can now successfully return to the Main Menu from DLC levels.

  • The DLC boss level can now be accessed directly from the Main Menu.

  • Fixed an issue where players who own the DLC will no longer be trapped in a time loop that forces them back to the very first level when trying to access the final level.

  • The Humbler's warning text now correctly displays "Times up. Something bad is coming..." and is no longer burned into your retinas, but instead now disappears like it's supposed to.

  • Sick David's ambience now loops correctly instead of awkwardly cutting out forever.

  • Fixed a button in Doomsdavid's level that had apparently unionized and stopped working.
