Hey everyone!
We are back with another massive update for Super Arcade Soccer 2026. This week, we’ve focused heavily on expanding player freedom, letting you customize your game down to the finest details, and revamping our core multiplayer and input systems.
Here is everything new in this latest build:
You can now take full control of how your competitions are structured.
Group Phase Editing: You now have the power to edit and reorganize teams directly within tournament groups, giving you total freedom over your championship layouts.
We have completely overhauled how local multiplayer works across entire competitions.
Previously, friends could only join you for the current active match, and the tournament overall structure only revolved around the primary player.
Now, up to 4 players can participate throughout the entire tournament! The system seamlessly tracks and respects each player's specific fixture and turn as the competition progresses. Grab your friends and fight for the trophy together!
The Team Editor has received a major upgrade with brand-new sections designed to let you build your dream club:
Logo Editor: Customize and edit team logos.
Player Stats: Fine-tune individual player attributes and statistics.
Kit Customization: Edit player uniforms, styles, and color configurations.
Import & Export Custom Teams: You can now export your created teams as a backup or share them with friends. Likewise, you can import custom teams created by other users!
Critical Input & Controller Overhaul
We patched a critical bug affecting gamepad and controller detection. The entire input system has been optimized to offer much wider compatibility across a larger variety of devices—including native support for PS4 controllers. This completely fixes several issues where certain devices wouldn't be recognized upon connection.
Gameplay Tweaks
Goalkeepers & Players: Further AI and behavioral improvements have been made to goalie reactions and outfield player transitions.
Friendly Fire Reduction: We've tuned down the power of friendly collisions—it is no longer as easy to accidentally knock out your own teammates with a hard pass!
UI & Navigation Fixes
Menu Navigation: Fixed several navigation glitches and soft-locks across various menus and during specific match transitions.
Missing Teams Fixed: Resolved an issue where the full list of "International" competition teams wasn't displaying properly in Quick Match and the Locker Room menus.
