Greetings, warlords, The game just launched, and as a one-person team I've been completely buried in crunch — pretty much passed out from exhaustion, haha. Today I finally caught my breath enough to post this first announcement. Thanks for your patience. Three Kingdoms: Yi is a 2D turn-based roguelike deckbuilder that I built entirely on my own, over two months — from design to UI, every piece by hand. Which is exactly why it isn't perfect yet, and why I want to shape it together with you. Game features:
Deckbuilding x general progression — thousands of talent combinations
Procedurally generated maps — no two runs are alike; from Yizhou to Luoyang!
A full Banner system — faction banners + destiny standards empower your force
Custom heroes & awakening — forge your own avatar
Persuasion — recruit any enemy general, bosses included
This update:
Added Skip Intro and Direct Avatar-Type Select — thanks for the feedback! No more rewatching the opening; returning players can jump straight in
Improved the final Destiny Boss entrance for a more intense finale
Made an attempt to trim the build size for lighter downloads and startup
Consolidated and optimized redundant code for better stability
Fixed first-launch issues and several known bugs
About Early Access:
A roguelike deckbuilder's depth and balance can only reach their full potential through real feedback from real players. The discussions are always open for your feedback and bug reports. If you enjoy the game, please leave a review — for a solo developer, every review means the world. The journey continues, alongside you. Thank you to every warlord who has joined.
