Ongoing Improvements #11: Guan Yu Combat Traits (2026.5.14)

Dear players,

We are continuing to roll out small updates based on your feedback.

With this update, the exclusive combat traits for all three protagonists have now been fully implemented.
Following Liu Bei’s [Benevolence] and Zhang Fei’s [Frenzy], Guan Yu’s [War Saint] combat system is now live.

Guan Yu — [War Saint] Combat Traits

Guan Yu now has a unique “War Saint” combat system:

• Starts battles with an initial shield

• If the shield is broken during the round, it will recover at the end of the round

• All damage dealt by Guan Yu ignores attribute counter penalties
  (For example, Fire attacking Water will still deal 100% damage instead of 50%)
  However, Guan Yu himself still receives additional damage when countered by enemies

• Performing combos applies [Supply Cut] to enemies for 2 rounds
  (up to a maximum of 2 rounds stacked)

During [Supply Cut]:

• Enemy escape countdowns are paused

• Enemies cannot recover shield or HP through any means

• Performing combos also has a [Strength Attribute]% chance to increase the enemy’s escape countdown by +1 round

Guan Yu’s gameplay direction is now more focused on:

“Steady suppression, sustained lockdown, and tempo control.”

Combo & Interaction Improvements

• Added a new feature:
  Right-clicking configured normal skill circle icons will now automatically return them to their original position, improving combo setup efficiency

• Character trait adjustment:
  Liu Bei and Zhang Fei no longer extend enemy escape countdowns through combos
  This mechanic is now exclusive to Guan Yu

Character Presentation Improvements

• Added greeting and farewell voice feedback for all NPCs

Other Fixes

• Fixed several additional minor issues and edge-case bugs

We will continue maintaining the current update pace while refining combat systems and overall gameplay flow.
