The following is a list of patch notes and bug fixes for Kristala Version 1.0.13

Patch Update – UI Improvements, System Fixes, and Gameplay Corrections Now Live (v1.0.13)

This update introduces several UI and usability improvements to upgrade systems, alongside fixes for Talents, Runes, Echo behavior, and navigation within key menus. Additional improvements address gameplay consistency, camera behavior, item interactions, and backend systems such as the profanity filter, continuing our focus on clarity, reliability, and overall player experience.

UI & Menu Improvements

• Added explanation panels to the Preparation Menu, Echo Upgrade, and Weapon/Talisman Upgrade screens to show how many Mezuzots are required to unlock each upgrade or slot

• Added a blinking green indicator to highlight the next upgrade tier for Weapons, Talismans, and Echoes

• Removed the “Bring More Mezuzots” message in the Forge once the final upgrade level has been reached

• Fixed an issue where navigation did not function correctly in the Spell Preparation menu

• Fixed an issue in the Spell Tree where controller focus could be lost when forgetting a Spell Leaf

Gameplay & Combat Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Talents would not function correctly after reloading the game

• Fixed an issue where weapon damage bonuses from runes could be significantly higher than intended

• Fixed an issue where Echo compatibility displayed on Talismans did not match their actual supported types

• Fixed an issue where the player could sometimes respawn in an incorrect location

Character Creation Fixes

• Fixed an issue where players could start a new game with an incorrect Clan Spell if no spell was selected

Items & Inventory Fixes

• Fixed an issue where players were unable to sell equipped items
  

Summoning & Camera Improvements

• Fixed an issue where the camera would not properly reset after unsummoning the steed
  

World & Environment Fixes

• Fixed multiple collision, traversal, and material issues across several areas

System Improvements

• Improved the profanity filter system to reduce incorrect detection of non-profanity words
