Dear Researchers,

We have released a new update that includes the following fixes, adjustments, and gameplay improvements.

We have also received reports from some players about severe frame rate drops. At the moment, we have not been able to reproduce this issue consistently on our internal test machines, and the exact cause is still under investigation. For now, we have made the following adjustments to address areas that may be contributing to performance issues, and we will continue working on further improvements.

Performance-related Adjustments

  • Removed a large amount of debug logging to reduce memory usage and GC pressure

  • Adjusted the default graphics settings on first launch. V-Sync is now disabled by default, and the default frame rate is now set to 60 FPS.

Combat and Balance Adjustments

  • Adjusted the phase difficulty of the Prison Robot Boss, and increased the wind-up time before Suicide Robots self-destruct

  • Adjusted the summon phase difficulty of the Hive Boss. Elite summoned enemies have been replaced with normal enemies

  • Removed the flash stun effect from the Prologue Boss to reduce difficulty

  • Added warning indicators to attacks from ranged robot enemies

  • Adjusted grenade crafting so that each batch now produces 10 grenades, with material cost scaled accordingly

  • Lowered the unlock levels for the Decoy Grenade and Medical Grenade to improve early-game loadout variety

  • Increased the availability of Star Silver Ore in the early and mid game

  • Increased the Buff level granted by the upgraded Corrosion Resistance Backpack

  • Adjusted the resistance calculation system to use percentage reduction + flat damage reduction. When incoming damage of a matching type is low enough, sufficient resistance can now fully negate it

System and Interaction Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where teleport points could stop functioning after activating support before a Boss fight

  • Fixed an issue where dungeon teleport points could show no response when clicked

  • Fixed an issue in Chapter 3 where infrared lasers were not disabled properly after obtaining access in the mine

  • Fixed an issue where monsters could trigger spike traps

  • Fixed an incorrect location prompt in the teleport confirmation window

  • Fixed frame skipping in the opening CG

  • Fixed an issue with floating-point parsing in some language systems, which could cause the game to freeze in certain cases

  • Fixed an issue where recipe details and the crafting interface could display inconsistent information after a recipe upgrade

  • Optimized the reference logic for some interaction areas to avoid freezes in certain edge cases

  • Changed interaction focus switching to a separate key so it no longer conflicts with scanning

  • Improved the quest display during scanning so it no longer overlaps with other UI elements

  • Improved the background music across the four main outdoor maps

  • Adjusted the handling of save failures. If saving fails due to unexpected issues such as permission problems, the game will now retry silently several times instead of showing a pop-up message

Thank you for your patience, feedback, and continued support.

We will continue to monitor the gameplay experience and keep working on further fixes and improvements.
