Hello, roaders!
The day has arrived. After months of updates, feedback, and countless roads traveled, ZEROAD is officially out with version 1.0.0. This update focuses on balance, fairness, and polish, everything I've learned from you, packed into the definitive road experience.
Weapon Rarity Scaling: From Road 15 onward, common (white) rarity weapons no longer appear in gun cabinets. The chances of finding rare (blue) and ultra-rare (gold) weapons now increase steadily with road level.
Skill-Based Offers: Gun cabinets now offer weapons that match your shooting skill more often, helping you find powerful tools for your build.
Resource Balance: With rare weapons appearing more frequently, resource drops from chests have been slightly reduced. Chest opening time for solo players has also been decreased. Surviving alone shouldn't mean missing out.
Shooting Skill Balance: Shooting skill gain for different weapon types has been rebalanced, smoothing out the progression curve for unlocking new firearms.
More Reroll Dice: The base chance to find dice has increased, along with better scaling as you upgrade your Perception stat. More chances to reroll means more control over your run.
Easier Revives: The time before revival progress starts to decay has been increased from 1.0 to 1.5 seconds, giving you a larger window to finish reviving your ally. Progress decay is now twice as slow. So, your partner has a better chance to get you back in the fight.
Sound Fixes: The "misfire" sound is no longer played for other players, preventing their confusion. Resource and item drop sounds now play fully even if you pick up instantly. You'll always know when something valuable hits the ground.
Gas Canister Visibility: The gas canister's outline now blinks through zombies, corpses, and players. No more dying because it was buried under a pile of bodies.
