A fresh patch has risen from the depths—small in size, but vital in keeping your journey through Cthulhu's Reach: Devil Reef smooth and perilous.This update focuses entirely on bugfixing, polish, and tightening the experience across all systems.
Combat & Enemies
- Worm encounters: fixed dodging into worms not properly ending dodge progression, ensuring combat flow remains uninterrupted
- Enemy targeting: resolved null reference issues that could cause combat hiccups
Hut & Weapon Systems
- Weapon slots: fixed activation actions being disabled after leaving the hut
- Tooltips: modules now properly deactivate when exiting the hut
- Locked weapons: added diary shortcut to tooltips and improved hut-diary interaction flow for smoother navigation
- Store improvements: buying all weapon upgrades now automatically refills weapons without requiring a reroll
Audio & Atmosphere
- Beach ambience: fixed audio loop not stopping properly, preventing sound from bleeding between areas
- UI sounds: unlock buildup SFX no longer plays when pointer is not hovering over buttons
Multiplayer Stability
- Cutscene synchronization: resolved issues when players connect during cutscenes, ensuring all wanderers experience story moments correctly
