Let me tell you about the upcoming updates!

About Chapter 1 Going Free

On January 13th, I announced that Chapter 1 would become free-to-play, and immediately submitted a ticket to Steam Support (note: you can't simply make a paid game free through the interface).

And finally, I received confirmation—the game is now free!

Please play! Write reviews (honest ones), leave comments in the community. This can genuinely influence how soon a continuation might come out (I really hope so!).

You can still request a refund in accordance with Steam's refund policy.

Updates Based on Player Feedback

1. Dealer's Cards and Score

Players noted that it was unclear what cards the dealer had. Fixed! Now after you press "Stand," you see the dealer's card draw sequence and their final score.

Also added for convenience: your current hand score is now displayed.

2. Achievements!

I only had one achievement, and that was in the demo. My bad! Now there are 10 achievements in the game, mostly card-related.

3. The Smallest Yet Most Annoying Bug: Horses Tamed!

Reduced the volume and frequency of horse hoofbeats so you won't have to suffer through that again.

4. Optional DLC to Support the Game!

Very soon (already in moderation), a small DLC will be released, offering alternative card and background skins. I decided to add it in case you enjoy Chapter 1 and want to say thanks. The DLC purchase doesn't affect gameplay at all.
