Hello Community!
We are happy to present Release 0.0.6. In this update, we focused heavily on the "brain" of our world. The AI now reacts more believably, the map has been adjusted for better gameplay flow, and we’ve eliminated a critical performance bottleneck.
Here are the details:
The world is becoming more alive—and more dangerous. We have fundamentally overhauled the behavior of animals and enemies:
Realistic Survival Instincts: Deer are not only back, but they are also smarter. If you attack them, they will now panic and attempt to flee.
Aggressive Enemies: Watch who you pick a fight with—enemies will now attack the player immediately once combat is engaged.
Better Navigation: Both animals and enemies now move more fluidly and logically through the environment.
Combat Optimization: Enemy attacks and general behavior have been refined to create more exciting encounters.
We tweaked the game world parameters to create a tighter experience:
New World Size: The map size has been adjusted to 2x2 km.
Wildlife: Deer are now spawning correctly in the game world again.
Nobody likes stuttering, so we cleaned things up under the hood:
Critical Bug Fix: We resolved an issue where AI calculations (for enemies and animals) were negatively impacting performance. The game should run much smoother now, even when things get busy.
We hope you enjoy the changes! Let us know in the forums how the new AI reactions feel to you.
Happy Gaming!
