Hey! in an attempt to get achievements working, I reworked the code for achievements, updated the event system a bit and updated how input is handled!

overall the changes are:

• intro "splash screens" are now skippable via pressing the up/W key
• minor tweaks/changes to input code
• updated how achievements are handled/checked (hoping this fixes achievement issues for those who had them)

P.S.
As for things to come, I started working with someone on a Brazilian Portuguese translation! look forward to it!
