Exciting news, Carnaval fans! The open beta for our upcoming 1.2 update is now live! Get a sneak peek at the new features and mechanics we've been working on. In this beta, you'll find most of the aforementioned features in the previous dev diaries. Additionally, the beta includes some new features such as: misc vehicles in the parade e.g. vans and cars that have a random look each time you load the parade, and for the first time, see the audience walking home from the parade after the event wraps up.
How to find the Beta:
- Open Steam and go to your Library.
- Right-click on Carnaval Simulator and select Properties.
- In the Properties menu, click on the Betas tab.
- From the drop-down menu, select the Open Beta option.
- Steam will automatically download the beta, and you're ready to play!
While the update is still in development, we’re excited to tease some upcoming features that are not yet in the beta:
- Pusher Tractors: Manage backup tractors that help push floats from behind.
- Small Floats: Resize your carts for more diverse parade setups.
- Generator Repairs: When floats break down, fix them on the go to keep the parade moving!
