  • Rent is a third of a level now, not half — and it says why, in your terms: losing one day to a bear trap used to leave the cycle needing three quarters of everything on the map, which "is not a hard day, it is a dead company."
  • One deposit is the rent. Three deposits a line, six crates each, and the day reads as rent / spending money / greed. Says outright you can pay rent without moving the extractor.
  • A deposit lasts a minute instead of forty seconds.
  • The air stays clean while you earn your rent. Cough on the seventh crate, toxic on the thirteenth, "which is exactly the moment you finish setting up on that last deposit, so the first crate off it is the one that turns on you."
  • The fog builds the whole way through a level instead of maxing out halfway and sitting there.
  • Playing alone is one resource line, whatever job you take — this one directly names yesterday's promise and retracts it.
  • Smaller small-crew days, and scrap worth slightly more since a level is 18 crates.

Game update17 Sep 2026September 17th ChangelogAdded · A new monster: the Pipe Crawler. A man's upper body dragging a long chain of lizard legs behind it, joined by rusty pipes with glass windows and ending in a lizard tail. Each one is three to five pipes long. It joins the other hunters that can come for your crew. · It patrols where you walk. The Pipe Crawler remembers the routes your crew uses most and prowls along them, stopping now an…Game update16 Sep 2026September 16th ChangelogChanged · The Warden is faster. It used to be slower than your walk, so you could just stroll away from it. Now it is faster than a walk and slower than a sprint. If it is chasing you, run. · Rent is higher. A three day cycle now costs 20 crates' worth instead of 12. Your first cycle's rent goes from $1,688 to $2,813. One perfect day no longer pays for the whole cycle. Two good days will, but a…Game update16 Sep 2026September 15th ChangelogAdded · The controls show up when you need them. Swap to a tool or pick something up and a short line appears above your belt telling you what it does, then fades. It shows your own keys, so if you have rebound anything it says the key you actually use. The wrench also reminds you of your flashlight key. · Lights in the room outside the elevator. The square room you walk into now has four strip…
