Right-click now opens a part's data sheet

La Bidouillerie Demo · published 3 Sep 2026, 04:00 UTC

Left-click meant two things at once. Brief, it opened a part's data sheet; held down, it grabbed that part to move it. Two gestures on one button, and nothing to tell you which one was expected.

Several players left during the very first mission without ever finding how to push a solenoid's plunger. If that was you, it wasn't you.

From now on, a brief right-click on a part opens its sheet. A right-click on empty space closes it, and a cross has appeared in the sheet's corner. Left-click means one thing only: your hand.

Three welcome side effects. Switches and dials finally have a sheet you can read — they used to take the click for themselves. You can check a roller's speed on a running robot without shoving it by missing your aim. And nothing opens by accident any more.

If the game did not open in your language, the language menu is in the settings: English and French are both complete.

You trace your walls, you wire your flippers, you arm the transformer, and you shoot the ball. Five new missions, and the table stays playable at every step. Score reels that count The backbox is a mo…Community7 Sep 2026A mistake I'm keepingI hadn't planned to show the pinball table yet. It's still on the bench, it isn't finished, and it was meant to stay behind a closed door. Except the door wasn't closed: the workshop unlocked as early as the fourth vacuum mission, and all it took was a trip back through the Players menu to walk straight into it. Several of you found it. So much for the surprise — and just as well, because it ma…Community2 Sep 2026The demo is outThe La Bidouillerie demo is out. You can download it from this page, free. A perforated chassis, a crate of parts, and a robot that has to roll. The mechanics bolt underneath, the wiring goes on top. You switch the power on, and that is when you find out what you missed. Nothing is faked. The current is genuinely computed, ten thousand times a second. Your machine stalls at dead centre until yo…
