It's been a week since the last update and two weeks since launch. Thank you so much for playing!
Pacing
We spent a good chunk of this last week on pacing. Even after our initial changes, we still felt the progression was a bit too easy and then too steep towards the end. We tuned some numbers so the progression should feel more gradual.
You'll notice two new things in your journal. Each fish now has a Mastery that grows the more of that fish you catch, and the better you know a fish, the more of its grades you'll start reeling in. And if you've been at it a while without finding a grade you're missing, Grade Luck builds in your favor until it finally pays off. The catch will let you know when it does.
Arcade
The Arcade is open! Head to the new button on your sidebar for two games, Guppy Fish and Memory Matching. Play on your own or challenge someone at your pier with a right-click. Nothing in there pays FP, and your line stays in the water the whole time, so it's purely for fun and bragging rights. For now we have just the two games but we'll be observing to see how this feature plays out.
Aquarium
Right-click a fish in your Aquarium and make it your Champion. That's the fish you'll be using for any arcade games that require a model. For now, it's just Guppy Fish.
UI Fixes
• The Titles tab is now a grid you can actually browse, and you can pick your title right from your profile card
• Renaming a fish while a catch came in could blank the panel
• Profile portraits were blurrier than your character on the dock
• The right-click player menu now shows in your language
• Full docks no longer vanish from the pier browser
Thanks for fishing!
