It's been officially one week since launch! Thank you so much for playing and showing your support. Here are today's patch notes!

AquariumThe Aquarium seemed to be a popular addition so we gave it the respect it deserves. It now lives in its own tab on the profile card rather than crammed under the stats, so you can truly show off your impressive collection.• You can now name the fish in your aquarium. Click one, hit the pencil, and that Bluegill is Bailey from now on. Visitors see the name too.UI / Readability

We really like the cozy aesthetic and the coloring, but balancing that with readability, especially at this window size, has been quite the challenge. For now, we've toned down some of the text and put an outline behind the colorful bits so you don't have to strain your eyes. If it's still too hard to read, or if you feel it's lost some of its charm, please let us know your thoughts!• Some text was hard to read on the cream panels: journal rarity headers, the bag's info strip, a few grade letters. Fixed• Profile titles now show their tier color and appear in your language• Fixed some issues where higher frame rates rendered parts of the UI incorrectly• Previously, we added a border around the window while moving it so you could see where you'd end up. While we thought this was a nice QOL change, we also felt it took away from the visuals of your smooth ride as you relocated. Now the border only shows while you're moving the window near the edge of your screen.

Titles

• Titles were slightly adjusted so their rarity actually matches how hard they are to get, and there are a few new ones to chase, including some for fishing with friends. Get flexing!
Note: the titles you already have were not affected.

Fixes

• Names with accents, symbols or CJK characters were coming through as garbage in chat and on nameplates. They read correctly now

• Upgrading your bag now updates your FP in the open panel right away, instead of looking free until your next catch

Saves

We received a single report of lost data and traced it to a rare edge case during a power loss or unexpected shutdown at just the wrong moment. We have since significantly hardened the save process. While we don't expect to see another report of lost data going forward, in the rare event that it does happen, it should NOT exceed a couple of minutes, and in the very worst case it should be under 10 minutes. We also added significant diagnostics to ensure that if this DOES happen, we will know immediately. If you are not comfortable sending your diagnostic logs, feel free to disable it in Settings.

Settings also got a Report a Problem / Feedback card. Bug, idea, request, whatever it is, it lands straight in our inbox.

On a side note, we received a lot more feedback and support than we anticipated, so thank you for that! We hope we've addressed all of the immediate bumpiness of the initial launch. We'll now be taking a step back from the daily patches of launch week to observe how the game actually plays over a longer stretch. This is an idle game meant to be played over weeks, not days, and we want to see it on that time scale before making any hasty changes. That doesn't mean we've stopped updating or adding features, and it certainly doesn't mean we're not reachable. Thanks for fishing!
