We’re excited to announce our next playtest will be opening on 8/20/2026! In this playtest, we will be sharing Palettopia’s Puzzle Mode. We greatly appreciated all the feedback we got on our recent Creative Mode playtest, we can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this next phase!

Strategically place districts and manage limited paint resources to fulfill unique island needs. Play at your own pace as you harmonize with the terrain to boost your score and solve the island’s unique puzzle.
Solve the Puzzle: Discover the unique requirements of each island puzzle by placing required districts in specific locations.
Fulfill District Needs: Complete your city by connecting districts to satisfy their specific need requirements.
Create Terrain Synergy: Forge harmony with the land and increase your score by placing districts in their optimal environments.
Paint to Expand: Connect districts to unlock limited paint resources and grow your city.
Play at Your Pace: Fulfill the island's requirements within a turn limit, without the stress of timers. Strategically think through your placement to increase your score.
How to Join the Playtest:
Head over to the main Palettopia Steam Store Page.
Scroll down to the "Join the Palettopia Playtest" section.
Click the "Request Access" button.
That's it! We will notify you as soon as you are granted access on August 20th!
This playtest will provide temporary access exclusively to Puzzle Mode from 8/20/2026 to 8/27/2026. After that, we will close access so we can sort through your valuable feedback and continue building Palettopia.
