Hey everyone,
The day is finally here! Monster Storm is officially available in Early Access on Steam!
I’m the solo developer behind Squirrel Works, and getting this game into your hands feels surreal. Monster Storm started purely as a passion project—something I wanted to build alongside my friends and community. In fact, the multiplayer aspect was born simply because I wanted a game we could all play together.
While I’ve built a few smaller games in the past, Monster Storm is my very first published title on Steam, and I couldn't have reached this milestone without everyone who has supported, playtested, and wishlisted along the way.
What is Monster Storm?
Dive into an action-packed 2D multiplayer survival game where you play as a squirrel fighting to defend against waves of invading monsters! Collect souls and resources, level up in the heat of battle, and unlock powerful talents, skills, and weapons to survive the onslaught alongside your friends.
Why Early Access?
Because this game started with a community, it only makes sense to build the rest of it with one. Early Access allows us to shape the future of Monster Storm together. Your feedback, ideas, and bug reports will directly guide what comes next as we work toward the full 1.0 release.
To celebrate launch day, you can grab the game right now with a 10% discount!
