We’ve updated our roadmap for 2026 and would like to share our next steps for The Bus. Alongside new content, our plans include improvements to multiplayer, performance and stability.
We’re also planning additional DLCs for The Bus. The graphic below gives you an overview of these expansions. These DLC plans are not limited to 2026 and also include content planned for the years ahead.
The free Update 1.2 introduced AI trams alongside other improvements. The Ebus 2.2 is also available with 4 variants.
For the remaining months, we’re planning the following:
Multiplayer improvements: We’re working on fixing crashes and disconnections and improving performance.
Buses from Fernbus Simulator: We want to make buses from Fernbus Simulator playable in The Bus.
Additional AI bus lines: We plan to add partial and intersecting lines to the AI bus traffic, such as the M45 at S+U Zoologischer Garten. You won’t be able to drive these lines yourself, but you’ll encounter their buses along your routes.
We’re also continuing to improve the stability and performance of The Bus, fix bugs and make corrections to the game world. Work on console telemetry and a complete gearbox overhaul is ongoing.
Further quality-of-life improvements are planned for the future. We’ll share details as soon as we can.
You can find the latest overview on our roadmap.
Please note: The roadmap serves as a rough guide and reflects our current plans. Individual items may change, be adjusted or be postponed at any time. This also applies to the features and improvements we’re currently planning for this year.
