Prop Revolt 0.2.6

11 September 2026

New

  • "Unstuck me" in the pause menu moves stuck players to their last safe spot or a free spot nearby

  • The tutorial now teaches the revolt, with a practice area for props and a showcase for hunters

Improved

  • The Hunter no longer carries an unused first person layer (second body, first person camera and weapons), which saves CPU time

  • The Hunter keeps the weapon steady while sprinting instead of swinging it around, heavier weapons more so than light ones

Fixed

  • Crouching no longer skips a tutorial step. "Skip step" is on D-pad up on the controller now

  • Buttons used to operate a menu no longer trigger a game action when the menu closes. Leaving the pause menu with a controller used to make your character crouch or jump

  • In the tutorial the controller key icons for fixing, aligning, handle switch, grid size, lure call and camera zoom were missing

  • In the tutorial the skip button showed "ANY" instead of its key icon on a controller, and the role picker ignored D-pad right
