Export and handle your city IRL

The statement on our store page, "Cities built in Crosstalk represent structurally valid PCBs," is not an overstatement.

Crosstalk will release with the ability to take your city into the real world. Should you design one that is also electrically valid (for example, while playing in Hard mode, though it's possible on all three difficulties), you will be able to plug it in and have it work!

As an example, we used the board designed for the game's first trailer, and we placed an order with a PCB fabricator. The board is a demo of the game's mechanics and the board wasn't checked for correctness; however, it is still exportable. Whatever design you make, valid or not, you will be able to export it into a real-world fabrication format (we do plan to shoot and release a video documenting a functional PCB within Crosstalk, exporting it, having it fabricated, plugging it in, and testing its actual functionality).

The board in question is the one shown in the trailer:

We've placed our order and will receive the board, populated with components, in a few weeks. You will be able to do this with cities of any reasonable size!

If you'd like to hear more about the game as it gets closer to its release, then please consider wishlisting it:
