Love TTRPGs? Hate Trying to Schedule Them?

You finally found a night everyone can play.

Then somebody gets called into work. Somebody's kid gets sick. Somebody has family plans. Somebody simply can't do Thursday anymore.

"How's everyone looking next week?"

Your weekly campaign becomes monthly. Then every six weeks. Then eventually someone says, "We really need to get the group back together."

We know. We've been there.

So we built the kind of roleplaying world we wished existed when nobody could make game night.

One of our early testers described Grimmloch as less like an MMORPG and more like a vast, hundreds-of-players TTRPG campaign that's always there.

That's pretty darn close to what we were going for.

Create a character, not a build. Make choices the world remembers. Improvise solutions instead of choosing from a list of predetermined options. Find other roleplayers and stumble into stories together, or simply follow your own character's life for a while.

Log in for twenty minutes or disappear into the world for an evening.

The campaign is always there.

No coordinating five schedules - play together when you can.

No canceled session because one person couldn't make it.

No waiting three weeks to find out what happens next.

We're not trying to replace your tabletop campaign.

We're building somewhere to go when you wish you could play one.

The old system painted locations as flat tiles. The new one gives every place real extent, real memory of what happened there (only what was genuinely witnessed, not omniscient knowledge), and objects that live in the world instead of an abstract list. The server alwa…Community14 Aug 2026Grimmloch Lore: The Waking WorldThe year is 4305 and Valdara is a unified kingdom. Tsarigrad’s soaring marble basilicas and textile mills in the east, Karlingrad’s workshops and ceremonial knights in the west, Ikosium’s shrines and spice markets on the southern coast. Steam-driven looms are replacing hand work, and the first continental railway is under construction. The aristocracy holds the land. The middle class runs the w…Community13 Aug 2026August Dev Chat: Interiors, Location Awareness, and the Canon FilterWe recorded our August dev chat earlier this month and it's now up — come watch us talk through some of the systems we've been building out this summer. Here's what we covered: Interior Spaces We walked through the interior design work underway for Dagmar's Tavern and showed the current state of the decorated spaces. Grimmloch will have around 22–23 fully furnished interiors, and we're building…
