Hi everyone!
Development has continued with a focus on making the mall feel more dynamic, immersive, and accessible.
This update introduces the new Store Security system, an overhaul of the Time of Day system, and full UI localization with support for 11 languages.
You'll also notice a variety of environmental improvements, including a new cloud system, enhanced weather effects, lightning strikes, updated UI elements, and numerous visual polish improvements throughout the game.
Higher-tier stores can now be equipped with security alarm systems, adding a new challenge for players looking to steal valuable loot.
Security sensors are placed at store entrances and will trigger if stolen items pass through them. Skilled players can avoid setting off the alarm by carefully throwing loot over the sensors before carrying it away.
The system also creates new opportunities for player interaction. Rival players can deliberately throw items through a store's sensors to trigger the alarm, causing chaos and potentially exposing another team's robbery.
Once an alarm is activated, store employees will attempt to tackle the shoplifter while mall security is immediately alerted. The store's alarm will also begin flashing and sounding, making it much harder to escape unnoticed.
The time of day system has been updated with improved lighting and atmosphere, making each round feel more dynamic. Combined with the new cloud system, weather improvements, and lightning strikes, the mall now feels much more alive.
