The best thing about Hellforged for us so far has been watching what you do with it, such as builds we didn't see coming and runs we definitely couldn't have planned for - so this month, we're leaning into that!
We're calling it the Hellforged Trials, where every month, there is one theme and a live leaderboard. The rules are simple: You play Hellforged the way you already do, and your run gets scored against whatever the Trial is asking for. At the end of the month, the top 20 walk away with an exclusive in-game title, and one player becomes immortalised in our Hall of Fame, alongside a one-of-a-kind “Immortal” title. In game, you can head to the Trial Crystal, to learn more about the trials.
Each Trial pulls from one of the seven sins. Greed, wrath, gluttony, sloth, pride, envy, lust. Not to reward them, but to test them. The question each month is the same, just wearing a different face: can you master this trial, without it mastering you?
The whole thing will be hosted by the Trialkeeper, the in-world voice of the leaderboard - you'll meet them properly on Discord, where they will be keeping a close eye on any new contenders brave enough to face his trials. In plain terms: play a single run of Hellforged, and whatever gold you're holding at the end of that run is your score. Spend it, hoard it, whatever suits your build, but remember, only your best run counts.

The Top 20 Of The Month:
The in-game title for that Trial, kept forever. This month, that title is “The Greedy”. You can only earn it while the Trial is live, so if you miss it, you'll be waiting for the Trial of Greed to come back around.
The Contender role on Discord for only as long as you're in the top 20.
The Winner:
A unique in-game title: The Immortal, kept forever.
A permanent Hall of Fame post with your name, your run, and your quote on it.
A permanent Immortal role on Discord.
Each Trial opens on the first Friday of the month at 4PM BST.
Each Trial closes on the last Wednesday of the month at 11:59pm BST.
Runs are verified automatically: all you have to do is connect your Discord to your in-game account through the Hellforged Bot, and every run you play registers on the leaderboard on its own.
Play as many runs as you want, only your best counts.
The live board, mid-month updates, final-week posts, and the crowning all happen in our Discord.
The first Trial opens slightly later this month, Tommorow on 10/07/26 and runs to 12/08/26. The next one drops the following month.
