Friends!
Recently, we shared details about our work on launching servers in Europe and South America. Today, we’re announcing the next stage of this process: servers in Brazil and France will be available on the live server for the next week.
We encourage players from all over the world to take part in testing.
⚠ Important: Due to regional restrictions, players from the Russian Federation will experience connection issues when trying to join a match on a French or Brazilian regional server. This testing is primarily aimed at improving connection quality for our international community.
Testing start date: October 21
Testing end date: October 28
During this period, we will be closely monitoring server performance, collecting data, assessing player activity, and identifying potential issues.
Note: These dates are tentative and may change. We’ll publish a separate article when the testing goes live and keep you updated on our Discord.
Once the new servers become available, simply choose one of them and start playing any modes you like. Then switch to another server and do the same.
When the servers go live, we’ll launch a short survey both in-game and on our social media for you to share your experience with the servers.
Q: How do I choose a server?
A: As usual, you can select a server when logging in through the launcher.
Q: Are there any known issues with new regional servers right now?
A: Yes. At this stage, we already know that players from the Russian Federation will experience connection issues when trying to join a match on a French or Brazilian regional server. This is due to external restrictions that we are working very hard to address.
Our current goal is to identify new potential errors and collect more data on connection stability.
Q: What will happen if I can't connect to a regional server?
A: You will see an error indicating that the regional server is unavailable. In that case, restart the game and select a different regional server.Q: How does matchmaking work between the Brazilian and French servers?
A: The servers in Brazil and France will share a matchmaking pool, which will be separate from all those of other regional servers.
Q: Will players from France be able to match with players from Moscow in Quick Match?
A: No. Since the Brazilian and French servers have a separate matchmaking pool, players from France will not match with players from Moscow in Quick Match.
Q: Can players from France and Moscow still play together?
A: Yes. They can still play together if they join the same custom room or invite each other to a match, for example, through the Friends List.
Q: Which server will host the match if players from different regions play together?
A: The match will take place on the host's regional server. The host is the player who invites a friend to a match or creates a custom room.
Q: Will Russian players face issues when starting a cross-regional match?
A: Yes. In this case, players from the Russian Federation may encounter connection issues when starting a match during testing.
