Major update

Hey... Max is here!

Well... apparently the dungeon has a voice now.

Meet Max, the new dungeon radio host.

He’ll comment on what happens during the day, and sometimes he’ll just talk because the silence is getting awkward. After all, he doesn’t exactly have anything better to do… he’s chained to the studio!

But Max isn’t the only new thing in this update.

Adventurers can now leave gold on the ground when they’re defeated, and other adventurers might pick it up before you do.

The dungeon can also get dirty now. Trash and blood can affect Comfort, Prestige and Popularity, so keeping the place at least vaguely presentable might actually be a good business decision.

Luckily, you can now hire your first staff member: the Goblin Sweeper.

He works during the night, cleans the dungeon, collects abandoned gold and generally takes care of all those things you probably didn’t feel like doing yourself.

I’ve also improved building quite a bit. Floors and walls can now be placed by dragging, right click immediately cancels the active tool, and I’ve fixed several small placement annoyances.

And on top of that, there’s a brand new purchase panel!

The tutorial has also been expanded once again, now including cleaning and some of the newer systems.

Behind the scenes, I’ve also continued working on pathfinding, saves, monster physics, radio priorities, coaching and general optimization.

For the first time, there are also objectives with rewards!

So yeah… Max is here! Turn the volume up and listen to that poor man trying to make a living!

Business as usual.

Thanks to everyone who’s trying the demo and continuing to send feedback.
