French Pareto 2 is live — the French line reaches 3,000 words

French Pareto 2 is live. The last 1,000 words of the French line — Core, Pareto 1 and Pareto 2 now carry French out to 3,000 words.

What is in it

1,000 words across five tiers and forty clusters, each cluster closed by a boss fight. 566 of them are nouns, every one carried with its article and colour-coded by gender, so le and la are learned with the word instead of after it. Verbs, adjectives and 88 set expressions make up the rest.

The notes start flagging register at this level: when a phrase is tu, when it is vous, when it is soutenu. It is the point in French where that begins to decide things.

In your language

Like the rest of the French line, every card meets you in German, Japanese, Spanish or Simplified Chinese — translation, translated example sentence, and study notes. Or play the whole thing in English. The lessons come in all five.

Pareto 2 follows Pareto 1. If you are starting French from nothing, French Core is the front door.
