◆ [Green Pool War] Event
On the eve of the Third Green Pool War, the Balene royal army was determined to take complete control of Skell. Its objective was to break through the enemy defenses around Geroneber and along the right bank of the Laetz River, dealing a decisive blow to the Islet forces stationed in Skell. Only then could it seal off the mountain pass between Mount Katous and Mount Lio and wrest a fertile stretch of land from Islet’s grasp.
The court of Meden had previously recruited a group of highly capable mercenaries and incorporated them into the royal army. They were now stationed at the northeastern edge of Skell Forest, ready for battle.
Meanwhile, Islet was equally determined to drive the Balene forces out of Skell. Knowing that a frontal confrontation against Balene’s formidable military prowess would be unwise, a young noble commanding one of the defensive sectors contacted underworld operatives. They brought a sorceress skilled in arcane arts to the front lines, hoping that unconventional tactics could withstand the coming assault. This time, he was prepared to sacrifice his reputation for victory.
