Hello sentient trees, it's time for another polishing update to the game, bringing some exciting features, and fixing many notorious problems.

The biggest addition in this update, is a bestiary cataloging all the enemies you've encountered. Use it to find out what the new enemy you found is weak too, or rage at how many times you have died to a basic zombie. It expands as you find new enemies, and can be accessed at any time in the inventory. We put a bunch of effort into making sure it's fun to just flip through and see the enemies in all their glory.

All the weapons now have smooth equip animations! They feel way cooler than we ever could have hoped for.

4 New difficulties have been added in this update to challenge yourself! The harder difficulties include less max health, harder enemy layouts, and tighter boss attacks.
We also polished the main gameplay a ton over the last month:

  • Enemies are no longer stupid! Be warry this even means that the wendigo will track you down across the entire level. You will never be safe again...

  • Improved the map significantly

  • New music, and cultist machine gun towers for Grovesville!

  • Melee animations have been improved to look like they are actually hitting around your crosshair.

  • A new improved controls menu.

  • Small text popups are at the center of your screen like most boomer shooters so you don't have to break the flow of combat.

  • Many other small tweaks

In the next update we are excited to work on some new secret levels, secret bosses, and a brand new level on the peaks above the swamp. We also will be focusing on making the enemies and early level's put you more on your toes, and be more interesting to explore.
